Our Work

Fairways &
Feelings.

The golf world is starting to talk.

Fairways & Feelings sits down with well-known voices from golf for conversations that go past the scorecard. Tour wins, bad weeks, pressure, confidence, grief, burnout, identity, the strange business of trying to look completely fine when your head is all over the place.

The point is simple. When someone golfers recognise says something honest, it gives the rest of us a bit more room to be honest too. Stick it on in the car, on a walk, or while you are pretending the range session is going to fix everything by Saturday.

The guests

The golf world, off script.

Tour winners. Broadcasters who narrate the game for a living. Writers who shape how we talk about it. They came on the show and agreed to one thing: an honest hour.

When the people golf looks up to start opening up about their mental health, the quiet permission travels through every clubhouse, fourball, and first tee in the country.

I was sitting in a bedroom in Australia after Renay died, and I just said, ‘I’m gone. I’m done with golf.’

Rachel Drummond
I see the shit things that have happened in my life as a bit of a superpower, to be honest.

Marco Penge
I used to be a closed book, but after everything that’s happened, I’ve realised talking about my feelings makes a huge difference.

I appreciate Florio Golf for building a platform that helps golfers look after their minds as intentionally as they do their games.

If that last hole at The Open is the worst that can happen to me, let me tell you—I’m very fortunate.

Danny Clark, Florio founder and host of Fairways & Feelings
Meet your host

Danny Clark.

Danny founded Florio after connecting three things that kept pointing at the same problem: a lifetime in golf, his own experience with mental health, and years working in learning and development in healthcare.

That mix shapes the show. He knows the game, understands the territory, and gives people enough space to say the thing they nearly swerved. A decent podcast usually needs good questions. This one needs good silences too.

Partner with the podcast

Want to back the show?

We work with a small number of partners who want their brand alongside honest conversations about mental health in golf. Fairways & Feelings reaches golfers who care about the game and are ready for something a bit more useful than another argument about launch angle.

Podcast partnerships help fund Florio's wider work, including Healthy Minds Golf Club, the Golf Mental Health Programme, and education sessions across the golf community.
